Technical Details

Your server will need to allow you to add PERL scripts, and you will need access to the .htaccess file. These requirements are usually available on UNIX type servers.

If your server allows CRON files (scripts that automatically execute on a regular schedule) you can automatically execute a PERL script to create a Clickbank Marketplace sales file. You can also execute this script manually.

You will need to construct three real HTML pages:

• Your index.htm "home page"
• A 404.shtml "page not found" page, and
• The prototype HTML page with generate tags

You can optionally create as many other real pages as you want.

Dynamically generated pages are built on top of the HTML prototype page.

The prototype page looks just like a real HTML page, but it contains some "generate tags" that are replaced with dynamically generated content.

The special "generate tags" are indicated in blue in the figure below. These tags include:

• –HEADING– This is the page name set as a title.
• –LINKS– These are links to randomly selected page names.
• –COMMAPHRASES– These are page names displayed as phrases, each phrase being separated by a comma.
• –PARAGRAPH– The appropriate content files (whose keywords appear in the page name) replace this tag.
• <news>...</news> Items from an RSS news feed.
• <clickbank>...</clickbank> Products from Clickbank

You can construct the HTML prototype page in any way you want. You can use one of the free website templates you get as a bonus or you can use your own design.

You can include the generate tags anywhere in the page that seem appropriate. For example, consider the sample page below:
